  • September 23, 2010: Workers finish replacing this tower's 6,350 glass windows. More than a thousand panes were damaged when a tornado ripped through downtown Atlanta in March, 2008.
Notes
    > At the time of its completion, this was the tallest building in Atlanta. It has since been surpassed.
    > This was once the location of the Henry Grady Hotel.
    > The tower at the top of the building is the transmitting antenna for WZGC radio.
    > The building, itself is 723 feet / 220 meters tall. With the antenna mast, the total height is 797 feet / 243 meters.
